As a foundation of the project design, an in-depth research was performed to set the basic principles of the learning materials and the self-scan. What is it that entrepreneurs and SME owners want? What is the current level of circularity? How to approach the self-scan? What should be involved?

The CSS partnership performed their research in Spain, Hungary and the Netherlands, by doing a desk research, interviews and organizing multiple focus groups. Especially the focus groups gave us a leading thread in how to design the scan and learning materials.
